Placer Nature Center presents an exciting and informative series of lectures with topics ranging from current issues with our local environment to the whole planet and throughout the universe. Presented by leading researchers, professionals and scientists, the lectures provide a comprehensive overview of subjects such as marshlands, vernal pools, California environmental history, or the solar system.
Each lecture opens with local music and ends with questions & answers and a raffle of local goods and services! Presenters will be available afterwards for personal introductions.
All lectures are held the 4th Friday from 7:30 PM - 9 PM. Doors open at 7 PM with music ranging from blues to classical to jazz.
