Placer Nature Center's programs are open to everyone.
People come from all over Placer County as well as Nevada, Yolo and Sacramento counties to participate in PNC activities.

Placer Nature Center is located at the very end of Christian Valley Road, behind the California Conservation Corps. campus; the address is:

Print I-80 East Directions

I-80 East from Sacramento, Rocklin, Roseville, Loomis, Auburn area:
- From Sacramento take I-80 east to Dry Creek Road Exit.
- Exit at Dry Creek and turn left to cross over the freeway.
- At the T-intersection, turn left - there is a blue sign which says Placer Nature Center.
- Go one block.
- At the 4-way stop sign, turn right on Christian Valley Road.
- Follow Christian Valley Road for four miles - it will dead end at the California Conservation Corps.
- Go through the gates, Placer Nature Center's Driveway is the first dirt and gravel road on your left.
- Park in the visitor parking area and follow the trail at the top of the parking lot to our Exhibit Halls and Gardens.

Print I-80 West Directions

I-80 West from Tahoe, Colfax or Weimar area:
- From Sacramento take I-80 west to Dry Creek Road Exit.
- Exit at Dry Creek and turn right.
- At the T-intersection, turn left - there is a blue sign which says Placer Nature Center.
- Go one block.
- At the 4-way stop sign, turn right on Christian Valley Road.
- Follow Christian Valley Road for four miles - it will dead end at the California Conservation Corps.
- Go through the gates, Placer Nature Center's Driveway is the first dirt and gravel road on your left.

Print Highway 49 from Auburn Directions

Highway 49 from Auburn:
- Head Northwest towards Grass Valley.
- Measuring from Dry Creek Road drive 1.5 miles
- Turn right at Florence Lane (please respect residents and drive slowly).
- At T-Section, turn left on Helen Lane.
- At T-Section, turn left on Virginia Drive.
- At T-Section, turn right on Stanley Drive.
- At T-Section, turn left on Christian Valley Road.
- Follow Christian Valley Road for a little over a half-mile - it will dead end at the California Conservation Corps.
- Go through the gates, Placer Nature Center's Driveway is the first dirt and gravel road on your left.
- Park in the visitor parking area and follow the trail at the top of the parking lot to our Exhibit Halls and Gardens.

Highway 49 from Grass Valley or Lake of the Pines:
- Head Southeast towards Auburn.
- Measuring from the Wolf Rd. & Combie Rd. Intersection drive 4.3 miles.
- Turn left at Florence Lane (please respect residents and drive slowly).
- At T-Section, turn left on Helen Lane.
- At T-Section, turn left on Virginia Drive.
- At T-Section, turn right on Stanley Drive.
- At T-Section, turn left on Christian Valley Road.
- Follow Christian Valley Road for a little over a half-mile - it will dead end at the California Conservation Corps.
