The Placer Nature Center, Placer County, City of Roseville and Placer Tree Partners collaboratde in 2009 on a grant awarded by CalFire’s Urban Forestry Unit with the goal to provide information to residents about the benefits of trees. Their efforts culminated in 200 trees being planted in the unincorporated areas of western Placer County.
The 2009 program is completed; however, Placer Nature Center hopes to offer this important program again in late 2010.
