We always need volunteers in many different areas including administration!
Disney Day Projects
Disney Day will involve many hands getting dirty and having lots of fun outside (and learning a little in the process!). From our Sequoia trail being raked to weeds being pulled, we have jobs for all ages and some perfect for a family groups.
Projects include but are not limited to: pulling weeds, planting trees, collecting wild seeds, working in our Maidu Village, building bat houses to window washing, hanging slats on our greenhouse and moving mulch.
All projects will take anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours, many easy enough for even the littlest ones to participate! You'll get to choose what you would like to do - and switch to keep things interesting!
What to Bring:
- garden or work gloves (we do not have extra gloves!)
- comfortable shoes and clothes that can get dirty
- dress for weather
- snack or lunch for 30 minute break
- big smile and willingness to get a little dirty!
- *** Any additional gardening tools (to lend or donate) are greatly appreciated!
