Make a friend in Africa!

Ever wonder what it is like to
live in Africa?

What about the animals?

What do kids do for fun in Africa?

Would you be interested in helping build a Nature & Cultural Center for your new friends in Africa?

Drawn by a spirit of adventure and concern for people and wildlife every where, Placer Nature Center has established a partnership with the National Heritage Conservation Commission of Zambia( NHCC) to improve education and environmental awareness for children in Zambia's beautiful Luangwa Valley.

We invite Placer County schools, churches, non-profits organizations, parent/teacher clubs, classrooms and families to join us in this exciting project.

Under the auspices of NHCC, we will raise funds for Chipembele* Wildlife Education Centre and the Mfuwe Heritage Center. We will also create friendships between Placer County, CA children and the children of Mfuwe and the Luangwa Valley, Zambia.

*Chipembele means rhinoceros!
