re|create works with local businesses to collect unwanted items, industrial by-products, for use in environmental conservation lessons, art and creative expression.
This helps local business both produce less waste and help support our schools and community.
So far, over 3,500 students have been able to go through the reCREATE school program. Our rolling re|create truck arrives at the school; We talk about natural resources, conservation, and trash. After our presentation, classes visit the truck to select their material for their own hands-on art project.
Denio's Farmers Market & Swap Meet
Denio's Roseville Farmers Market & Swap Meet is built around the idea that an open air market
provides the opportunity for a seller to operate a business with the lowest possible overhead costs in a high traffic area and
to pass the savings along to the public. Our goal is to provide a clean, safe, friendly atmosphere and the best possible service.
We are dedicated to maintaining a relaxed, family-oriented environment which lends itself to the unique mixture of people who visit every weekend.
The Freecycle Network™ is made up of 4,775 groups with 7,090,000 members across the globe. It's a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (& getting) stuff for free in their own towns. It's all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills. Each local group is moderated by a local volunteer (them's good people). Membership is free.
Swap Baby Goods recognizes that babies grow so fast and so do their needs. Before we know it, the cute little outfits, baby toys, and other baby items we once could not live without become outgrown and underused, taking up an inordinate amount of space in our homes. The baby item one family is ready to put in the attic or out in the garage sale might be just what another mom or dad is looking for. Their ultimate goal is to help parents all across the nation save money and the environment by providing them an online venue to swap baby items.
